About Me

Hi, my name is Katrina and I am currently studying for my Masters in Endangered Species Recovery and Conservation at Nottingham Trent University. I love wildlife and the environment. I am from North Wales, United Kingdom. I love horse riding and have three of my own, as well as dog walking. I have experience working in an animal rescue shelter which was a great experience and taught many valuable skills such as animal husbandry and communication with the public.

I have completed a 3 month internship at Chester Zoo on the Rhino Department which was a great experience and gave my the inspiration and excitement to pursue a career in Conservation. I am currently volunteering for the Snowdonia Society, North Wales, which is great fun and very informative. I am hoping to carry on volunteering at conservation related events and I am very excited to start my research project about Red Squirrels.
